First, lets sit down and talk about what you need. For example;
- Getting pre-qualified with a reputable lending institution so we know how much house you can buy.
- Figuring out what area you want to live in. Do you want to be near the base or in a more rural setting?
- Deciding on what kind of home you are looking for; New construction or existing. Maybe a bonus room for out of town guests to stay in or a fenced yard for the dog.
Next, I will put my experience to work, researching the market and compiling information so you can make an informed decision on what I present to you. In the meantime create a free account, input your personal search criteria, view homes at your leisure and even receive automated e-mails when a home fitting your search criteria hits the market.
If you happen to be relocating from another state or country, I will send you a Personalized Welcome Packet filled with information about the Columbia County area including: maps, brochures about area attractions, websites and addresses of community resources and any specific requests you have made.
When the time comes for you to make an offer on your home, I will be there to fully represent you as my client, assist with negotiations of the contract and make sure you are happy with the results.
After the contract has been accepted, I will schedule needed inspections, coordinate with reputable professionals on possible repairs, document everything for your records and keep you informed.
Building your dream home? No worries! I will obtain information on available lots in the area or neighborhood you desire, schedule appointments with the builder of your choice to decide on the plan that fits your needs and walk you through the building process.
The day has finally arrived and you will be given the keys to your new home. But wait, I still need to review the HUD-1 statement and confirm that all contingencies have been met. I will leave no stone unturned. That's the way I work for you.
My job doesn't end at the closing table. During the weeks and/or months I have been working with you, we have developed a lasting friendship. I will stay in touch in case you have any questions or concerns. I like to send birthday and holiday cards and I like for you to send me your friends if they are looking to buy or sell their home.
